Enrolment

Participants can enrol via On Track to Save website. Welcome everyone to enroll and experience the life-saving journey of an MSF field worker.

For participants aged at or above 14:
Basic Package - HK$380
Premium Package - HK$480

For those aged below 14:
Basic Package - HK$200
Premium Package - HK$300

The fee include HK$100 registration fee and the remaining as donation.

​Participant needs to complete the game with the official mobile app. Children below the age of 14 can enrol in a Family Team and have to complete the competition with their Team Leader.

The competition period is 1 Nov - 31 Dec 2022. Any team which fails to complete all checkpoints and missions in the month will not be eligible for any competition awards and souvenirs.

There is no minimum age requirement. Parents or guardians should decide whether or not their children are suitable to participate.

Participant cannot change category or withdraw from the competition after registration. Participants can go to "Personal Page" to review their personal information as well as submitting donations.

The souvenir pack will be available for redemption 3 working days after receipt of enrolment confirmation email.

Each participant is eligible for one souvenir pack. The packs are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.

You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours after online registration and submitting the fees.

The emails may be marked as spam, please check your spam or junk mail box. Please contact us if you cannot find any confirmation emails.

"On Track to Save" Mobile App

"On Track to Save" mobile app is the event app for MSF virtual orienteering competition 2022. This competition has to be played together with the “On Track to Save” mobile app.

A mobile devise with Android 8.0 or later, or iOS 15.3 or later is needed to install this app.

When the app is downloaded, please allow the request to use camera, GPS tracking, notification and etc.

The push notifications will be used to release important and updated information, so we do not recommend turning off the notification function. However, if you do want to disable this function, please go to device’s settings.

Please check if your device's software is updated with the latest version. Please close other applications, restart the device, reinstall the app (the personal details will be kept), turn-off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when the app stops working or freezing. If the problem continues, please contact us.

The app will be using GPS to locate and display the checkpoint for participants during the competition, however, the location history would not be stored in the app. Information provided by participants during registration will only be used for login and competition purposes, while the competition results and ranking will be uploaded to the event website and app.

The app will operate in the background in case participants have an incoming call or are using other apps until the app is closed by the user.

App download is free. However, to participatie in the event, please complete the registration process with fee on the event website.

The app is available on Play Store and App Store.

Competition Checkpoints and Frontline Mission

To experience the role as a field worker, participants are required to complete the mission you last unlocked before unlocking the next checkpoint. Each mission will take less than 5 minutes to complete.

The time limit for this competition is two hours and the game will start counting for the team as a whole. We suggest teams to explore checkpoints together and experience each other's roles and missions.

The competition includes Fundraising Awards and Competition Awards. Results will be announced within 1 week after the event. Award winners will be notified in person.

Fundraising Awards The top 3 highest amount of funds raised in each team (in 2, 3 and 4 persons, including within Open and Family categories) The top 3 Corporates/Organisations with the highest total amount of funds raised will be awarded the Top Fundraising Awards

*All participating corporates/organisations with more than one team joining the competition are entitled to run for Corporate/Organisation Competition Awards. Each team must indicate their respective Corporate/Organisation’s Name in the enrolment form. ^ The Corporates/ Organisations with the highest scores will be awarded Overall Champion, First Runner-up and Second Runner-up.

The scoring method will be based on the highest score obtained within two hours. If teams obtain the same score, the team that completes the competition earlier will win.
Results will be updated on the website leaderboard. Final results will be announced within 1 week on the event website after the competition is completed. Winners will be notified individually.

Anti-epidemic, safety and green tips

During the event, the government or venue provider may require additional anti-epidemic measures. Please follow as requested.

Participant should maintain appropriate social distance during the Event, and wear masks according to the relevant government regulations to minimise the risk of infections.

Donation & Sponsorship

Our online donation system adopts the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. It helps to ensure that donor's sensitive information (e.g. credit card numbers) sent over the Internet between your browser and web server remains confidential. When you fill in the online donation form, a locked icon will be shown on the bottom of this page, which means the page is encrypted.

Corporate/ Organisation Participation

Representative of the corporate or organisation should enroll online first (click here). A Corporate/ Organisation Page and invitation code will be set up for mobilising members’ enrolment. Representatives can also monitor the enrolment and sponsorship status of the members on the page.

For all the Corporate/ Organisation (except Family category) team participation will be eligible to compete for the Corporate/ Organisation Awards and Top Fundraising Award. Remark: Each Corporate/ Organisation has to send at least 2 teams joining the Competition to be eligible to compete for the awards
